Participated in the Association of Fundraising Professionals-Greater Houston Chapter’s (AFP-GHC) 1st Annual Day of Service. Furthering a culture of philanthropy, AFP-GHC brought chapter members together as volunteers through a community Day of Service event to benefit a local nonprofit organization. Dr. Avery volunteered with the Friends of the Houston Public Library and Ms. Pipkins volunteered at Target Hunger.
